High-level Ethiopian Government Officials

Ms.
Aster Mamo, OPDO/EPRDF's government chief whip, and Mr.
Abdifatah Sh. Abdulahi, the minister of labor and social affairs in EPRDF and
ESPDP Chairman, were amongst the high level delegates who attended the Atlanta,
GA conference
on April 10, 2011.
It was the first time that any African countries held conferences simultaneously
in 14 different states across North America and it was very successful.
Thousands of Ethiopians from different walks of life, political and economic
backgrounds attended the conference which also concluded without any problems.


During the conference, the officials provided very
powerful videos of transformational various projects that were completed within
the past five years and also, put forward their next five years future Growth
and transformational plan. All conference participants were encouraged to
participates in ongoing Growth and Transformation Drive (GTP) in the Country in
both economical development as well as know how or to lend their expertise.
The conference was intended to energize and invite the Ethiopians in Diaspora to
involve in the ongoing Growth and Transformation Drive in the Country. They did
accomplish more than that.

The Ethiopian People Republic Democratic Federation’s Minister of Labor and
Social Affair, and
the chairman of the Ethiopian Somali Peoples Democratic Party (ESPDP)
having fruitful discussion with members of the Garre Community of North America
Delegates about issues concerning the Liban zone.
