Breaking News From El Wak, Central Gharri Region Tuesday November 04, 2008

On November 02, 2008 one of the recently tortured Gharri victims, Abdulah Hassan Qalla, died. He was a father, a husband and above all, he was a good citizen.

Also, the killers of Mr. Qalla, attempted to prevent his autopsies, and tried to cover up the atrocities and tortures that led to his death in El Wak. They arrested a group of former  MPs and local community leaders including Mohamed Abdow and Adan M. Noora, who were accompanied by a medical doctor and a news reporter. They arrested everyone but the medical doctor, camera man and the  pilot escaped the ordeal.

The Kenyan Minister of Defense Mr. Yusuf Haji has ordered his military junta to collect 600 guns from indigenous peasants of El Wak and Wargadud. What they failed to tell those elders was if they able to buy those guns, they will be charged for having illegal firearms or guns and face jail times and torture. However,  it is unclear where those peasants are going to get 600 guns from. What will happen to them if they could not find any sellers?
